Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I visit my dentist?

Dr. Zareh, Dr. Mohtashami, and Dr. Mazhari, along with the American Dental Association, recommend that patients should see their dentist for a cleaning and check-up at least twice a year, or every 6 months. This will give the team at Hillsview Dental Care the chance to professionally clean your teeth and allow the doctors the chance to catch small issues like tooth decay and gum disease early.

Can you replace my missing teeth?

Yes we can! We actually have a few ways we can do this. If you have a few missing teeth in a row, we can replace them with a dental bridge. Or, if you are missing multiple teeth throughout your mouth, they can be restored with a set of dentures. However, if you want a more permanent solution, we recommend getting dental implants. They replace your teeth both above and below the gum line, and this makes them the most reliable and long lasting tooth replacement option available.  They can even be used to give you a set of dentures that look better and last longer than traditional ones.

Is there any way I can make my smile more beautiful?

With our variety of cosmetic treatments, we can enhance just about every part of your smile. We can do everything from simply making your teeth whiter to giving you a complete smile makeover. Dr. Mohtashami is one of the foremost authorities in cosmetic dentistry in the country, so you know your smile will be in good hands.

I hate how my dentures look and feel. Can you help?

We can! Implant-retained dentures fit better, last longer, and provide a much stronger bite force than traditional dentures. They are actually much better for your long term oral health as well because they support your jawbone just like natural teeth. If you’re tired of dealing with dentures that pop, click, and slip, give us a call today.

I’m afraid to go to the dentist. What should I do?

We completely understand these feelings and many people feel exactly the same way. This is why we offer a variety of sedation techniques that can help you manage your dental anxiety. We’ll always take the time to listen to your concerns, so don’t hesitate to let us know if you’re feeling a bit stressed about your upcoming dental appointment.
